After marrying and becoming Veonne Anderson, she continued growing her publishing company before navigating another defining chapter of her life through divorce in 2020. Rather than allowing hardship to define her, she rebuilt her life once again. Shortly thereafter, she joined the NASA Space Apps Challenge leadership team, where she led a community hackathon introducing students to STEM careers through technology challenges, expert panel discussions, and mentorship opportunities. The initiative not only inspired innovation but also changed lives—one participating student received a full-time salaried job offer from a technology company after showcasing their talent during the program.

Veonne's passion for serving students extends far beyond technology. As a former Performing Arts Teacher at a private Christian school, students frequently sought her guidance before and after class to discuss struggles with rejection, identity, depression, and suicidal thoughts. Through compassionate mentorship, two students who had contemplated suicide chose life after opening up to her, and both demonstrated remarkable improvements in their grades, behavior, and overall outlook. She also founded a Christian Performing Arts & Etiquette Summer Camp, mentoring young people in leadership, confidence, communication, faith, and character development.

As a children's pastor, Veonne has led countless children to Christ while creating environments where many experienced God's presence, healing, freedom, and personal transformation. Today, she continues investing in the next generation by speaking in schools, classrooms, assemblies, churches, and conferences, where students regularly open up about challenges they have never shared before. Teachers often remark that students—especially those known for behavioral challenges—become deeply engaged, participate in meaningful conversations, and leave inspired to make healthier decisions about their future.

In addition to her work in education, Veonne built a successful career in technology. Joining the tech industry in 2022, she earned two promotions within her first year through exceptional performance and leadership. She later became the Employee Resource Group (ERG) Leader for the company's African American community, creating programs, leadership development opportunities, and monthly educational experiences that fostered inclusion across the organization. Her leadership included interviewing internationally recognized marketing executive and business leader Bozoma Saint John, equipping employees with practical strategies for leadership, influence, and career growth.
